PEGOLAND FLEX is a highly flexible, single-component dry mortar made from grey or white cement, modified with cellulose additives and latex-type additives that only needs to be mixed with water, for the proper installation of veneers in conditions that require deformability and high resistance to thermal changes such as in facades, Turkish baths, jacuzzis or spas or when the installation of natural slate is required. It is ideal for the installation of high or low absorption coatings with high coefficients of linear expansion, subject to adverse atmospheric conditions or strong and rapid temperature changes. According to NTC 6050-1, it is a cementitious adhesive (C) with improved characteristics (2), vertical slip resistance (T), deformable (S1), extended open time (E), high tensile adhesive strength after heat aging (H2) and high tensile adhesive strength after immersion in water (I2). The use of this product does NOT replace the use of mechanical or special anchors as contemplated in chapter A.9 of NSR-10.
Features and applications Ready-to-use product, just mix with the recommended amount of water. Improved by its high content of latest generation latex type additives. Pasty consistency, excellent workability. It has extended open time (E) that offers longer working time in the installation, according to the NTC 6050/2 standard test. Minimum slippage in vertical application (T), according to test standard NTC 6050/2 Greater performance due to its special granulometry. With deformable characteristics, on surfaces exposed to thermal shocks and substrate movements such as swimming pool ponds. (S1), according to test standard NTC 6050/2. Ideal for installations in wet areas, swimming pools and bodies of water due to its tensile adhesive strength after immersion in water (I2), according to test standard NTC 6050/2.
