PEGOLAND Gel S2 is a single-component, highly flexible and deformable dry mortar, made from a grey or white cement base, with added cellulosic additives and modified with a high latex content that only needs to be mixed with water, for the appropriate application of large-scale coverings such as porcelain and natural stones, applied to facades, high-temperature rooms such as Turkish baths, cold rooms, water immersion, high resistance, surfaces exposed to heavy traffic and installation of natural slate.
It is ideal for the installation of coatings with high coefficients of linear expansion and/or high or low absorption; on facades subject to environmental exposure such as temperature changes, rain, air currents, etc.
According to NTC 6050-1, it is a cementitious adhesive (C) with improved characteristics (2), vertical slip resistance (T), highly deformable (S2), tensile adhesive strength after heat aging (H2), tensile adhesive strength after immersion in water (I1)

The use of this product does not replace the use of anchors in accordance with NSR-10, Earthquake Resistance Code A.9.

Features and applications
Ready to use. Only requires the recommended addition of water.
It is a specialized, high-performance product for all types of demanding installations, such as: Large-scale coverings, swimming pools, exposed to heavy traffic, wet areas, cold and steam rooms.
Contains latex-type additives that provide excellent adhesion properties and very high flexibility (deformability).
Excellent performance in hot conditions and exposure to water.
Allows use on absorbent substrates such as fiber cement and ceramic boards.
Excellent working consistency.
Due to its rapid initial resistance and exceptional deformation, it can be used on floors with commercial and institutional traffic, interior and exterior facades, water fountains or spaces that require being put into service in a short time.
* Note: Please note that the installation of any type of cladding on the façade does not replace the use of mechanical anchors as described in the NSR-10 earthquake resistance code.
